Gifa Holding, Yusuf Kisa, said: "We are ready to start a new airline that Gifa Airlines. If the government is willing, we can sit down and talk."

Kisa: Air transport is essential for an island country like ours. Unfortunately, we have not been able to appreciate and support our national airline in the past and have caused its closure. Since then, we've had our air transport at the initiative of private companies.

Yusuf Kisa on Behalf of Gifa Airlines

Kisa, on behalf of GIFA , said that before these negative developments in the air transport to begin with endanger tourism and its citizens, it is ready to create a new national airline.

"A new airline will bring back competitive ticket prices"

"Today, air transport has become a monopoly game,"

he says, giving everyone the right to impose the price they want on humanity.

"A new airline is a blow to monopolization."

"We're open to any proposal from the government"

Kisa points out that "if the Turkish Cypriot government is serious about it and is ready to accept a solution, we can discuss this plan." We can merge public and private institutions into an idea, or GIFA is ready to lead the project alone. Ultimately, the goal is to serve the interest and well-being of the TRNC. "

Gifa Holding is requesting a new airline from the Department of Public Works and Transportation. Thus the chairman of Gifa Holding, Yusuf Kisa, said his request needed support, not objections.

Since then, the Republic of Northern Cyprus has made a significant contribution to the global economy. So the travel and tourism industry in northern Cyprus is dictated by the day-to-day decisions of private companies in Turkey.

Cyprus Turkish Airlines

After the closure of Cyprus Turkish Airlines, TRNC were totally controlled by private companies in Turkey and for their arbitrary decisions. Hence the people most affected by these changes are the international citizens and students who are staying in the TRNC.

Kisa suggests that a national airline, the success of the TRNC is limited. "Our air transport affects tourism, import and export in our country. With a new airline, we can encourage vital economic development and international trade."

GIFA Airlines

Therefore, we will take action on GIFA's Board of Directors . Yusuf Kisa said in a statement last week.

"Gifa is ready to make the changes our country requires for better air transportation".

Gifa's lawyers are joining the petition today

The lawyers of Gifa Holding are applying to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport to provide a new national airline for the TRNC naming Gifa Airlines.

Kisa: We're looking for support, not objections

"At Gifa, we are familiar with the airline industry with our own tourism company. So, our lawyers will officially apply to the Ministry of Public Works and Transport. "

"The country will win"

Demanding that the government thoroughly evaluates his application, Hence Kisa says, "Our government should not obstruct our way." Hence, if the government supports our request, a new airline will be a win for our country. "
